OK so you’ll need to budget for your boutique bolthole (and maybe a new cabin case to complete the look) too but, Skyscanner’s Everywhere tool allows you to browse by date and find the cheapest flights from your nearest airport in just a couple of clicks. It’s amazing! And to be honest, we’re getting a little carried away with it… Here’s our top three, selected from the cities we saw when we searched for the Easter weekend (departing – UK, arriving – Everywhere).
Hamburg (return from London for £163)
A little bit German, a little bit Scandi, a little bit Venice… Hamburg might just be up there as our favourite Deutsche destination. Pack the Clifton cabin in blush.
Barcelona (return from Glasgow for £105)
Needing no introduction – Barca brings it everytime. Surely the sun will be out and we can set our eyes on a serving of tapas from Bar del Pla? Pack the Stamford cabin.
Gothenburg (return from London for £197)
A Swedish star player, this city is the perfect weekender - easily walkable, we wanted to head here as soon as we heard the words fried herring, mash and Logenberry sauce… Pack the Lincoln cabin suitcase in black.
We did our research on Wednesday 10 April so by you time you read this, flight prices will likely have changed, but we hope it’s a useful tool all the same.
